This piece is designed to function as a sculpture first, and a light source second. The base is hand-cast from a porous mineral composite, finished with an unsealed chalk-matte texture that feels distinctly earthy and cool to the touch—tactile, slightly grainy, and completely non-reflective. It’s paired with a tailored shade made of heavy, unbleached Belgian flax linen.
